अतो जगत्स्थितं सर्वं ब्राह्मणोऽर्हति नापरः । सदाचारो हि सर्वार्हो नाचाराद्विच्युतः पुनः
ato jagatsthitaṃ sarvaṃ brāhmaṇo'rhati nāparaḥ | sadācāro hi sarvārho nācārādvicyutaḥ punaḥ
ஆகையால் உலகமெங்கும் நிலைபெறுதல் (தர்மத்தின் மீது) சார்ந்தது; பிராமணனே மரியாதைக்குரியவன், மற்றவர் அல்லர். நல்லொழுக்கத்தில் நிலைத்தவன் எல்லா மரியாதைக்கும் உரியவன்; ஒழுக்கம் தவறினவன் மீண்டும் உரியவன் அல்லன்.
