यमोऽहं सर्वभूतानां दुष्टानां कर्मकारिणाम् । धर्म रूपो हि सर्वेषां मनुजानां जितात्मनाम्
yamo'haṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ duṣṭānāṃ karmakāriṇām | dharma rūpo hi sarveṣāṃ manujānāṃ jitātmanām
நான் எல்லா உயிர்களுக்கும்—துஷ்டரும் பாவச் செயல்கள் செய்பவர்களுக்கும்—யமன். ஆனால் தம்மை அடக்கிய ஜிதாத்ம மனிதர்களுக்கு நான் தர்மத்தின் உருவமே.
