व्यास उवाच । साधु पृष्टं त्वया राजन्धर्मज्ञस्त्वं सदा शुचिः । आदौ कलियुगे प्राप्ते यद्दत्तं तच्छृणुष्व भोः
vyāsa uvāca | sādhu pṛṣṭaṃ tvayā rājandharmajñastvaṃ sadā śuciḥ | ādau kaliyuge prāpte yaddattaṃ tacchṛṇuṣva bhoḥ
வியாசர் கூறினார்— அரசே, நீ நன்றாகக் கேட்டாய்; நீ தர்மத்தை அறிந்தவன், என்றும் தூயவன். இப்போது கேள், நற்குணனே, கலியுகம் முதலில் வந்தபோது விதிக்கப்பட்டதை।
