ब्रह्मोवाच । ततस्तु मिलिताः सर्वे विमृश्य च परस्परम् । केचिदूचुस्तदा रामं वयं शिलोंछजीविकाः
brahmovāca | tatastu militāḥ sarve vimṛśya ca parasparam | kecidūcustadā rāmaṃ vayaṃ śiloṃchajīvikāḥ
பிரம்மா கூறினார்—அப்போது அனைவரும் கூடி ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் ஆலோசித்தனர். பின்னர் சிலர் ராமனிடம், ‘நாங்கள் ஶிலோஞ்ச வ்ருத்தியால் வாழ்கிறோம்; மிகக் குறைந்த साधனங்களால் உயிர்வாழ்கிறோம்’ என்றனர்.
