तर्पयेदक्षया तृप्तिः पितॄणां तस्य जायते । श्राद्धं चैव प्रकु र्वीत सक्तुभिः पयसा सह
tarpayedakṣayā tṛptiḥ pitṝṇāṃ tasya jāyate | śrāddhaṃ caiva praku rvīta saktubhiḥ payasā saha
அவன் தர்ப்பணம் செய்யட்டும்; அதனால் அவன் பித்ருக்களுக்கு அழியாத திருப்தி உண்டாகும். மேலும் சக்கு (வறுத்த யவ மாவு) பாலும் சேர்த்து ஸ்ராத்தமும் செய்ய வேண்டும்।
