विष्णुरुवाच । अनेनैव तु मंत्रेण ममाग्रे सुरसत्तम । क्षीणे चंद्रे चतुर्द्दश्यां नभस्ये पिंडमाहरेत्
viṣṇuruvāca | anenaiva tu maṃtreṇa mamāgre surasattama | kṣīṇe caṃdre caturddaśyāṃ nabhasye piṃḍamāharet
விஷ்ணு கூறினார்—தேவர்களில் சிறந்தவனே! இதே மந்திரத்தினால், என் சன்னிதியில், நபஸ்ய மாதத்தில் சந்திரன் குறையும் சதுர்தசி நாளில் பிண்டத்தை அர்ப்பணிக்க வேண்டும்।
