तपोभंगं प्रकुरुते कंपयित्वा महासुरम् । ताडयंति शरीरे तं मुष्टिभिस्तीक्ष्णकर्कशैः
tapobhaṃgaṃ prakurute kaṃpayitvā mahāsuram | tāḍayaṃti śarīre taṃ muṣṭibhistīkṣṇakarkaśaiḥ
அவர்கள் மகா அசுரனை நடுங்கச் செய்து அவன் தவத்தைச் சிதைத்தனர்; பின்னர் கடினமும் கூர்மையும் கொடுமையும் கொண்ட முஷ்டி அடிகளால் அவன் உடலைத் தாக்கினர்।
