sarvavidyāsu niṣṇātā vedavedāṃgapāragāḥ | ṛgvedeṣu ca niṣṇātā yajurvedakṛtaśramāḥ

அவர்கள் எல்லா கல்விகளிலும் தேர்ந்தவர்கள்; வேதங்களும் வேதாங்கங்களும் கரை கடந்தவர்கள். ரிக் வேதத்தில் நிபுணர்கள்; யஜுர்வேதத்தின் கடுமையான பயிற்சியால் பக்குவமடைந்தவர்கள்.
