सर्वपापविशुद्ध्यर्थं शिवलोके महीयते । नीलोत्सर्गं तु यो मर्त्यः करोति च तदग्रतः
sarvapāpaviśuddhyarthaṃ śivaloke mahīyate | nīlotsargaṃ tu yo martyaḥ karoti ca tadagrataḥ
எல்லாப் பாவங்களின் பரிசுத்திக்காக அவன் சிவலோகத்தில் போற்றப்படுவான்; மேலும் அந்த (தெய்வம்/தீர்த்தம்) முன்னிலையில் ‘நீலோத்ஸர்க’ அர்ப்பணம் செய்பவன் அதே புண்ணியத்தை அடைவான்.
