किमिदं पश्य गत्वा त्वं दृष्ट्वा मह्यं निवेदय । तत्तस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा गतो वै नलकूबरः
kimidaṃ paśya gatvā tvaṃ dṛṣṭvā mahyaṃ nivedaya | tattasya vacanaṃ śrutvā gato vai nalakūbaraḥ
“நீ சென்று இது என்னவென்று பார்த்து, பார்த்ததை எனக்கு அறிவி.” என்ற அவன் சொல்லைக் கேட்டு நலகூபரன் நிச்சயமாகப் புறப்பட்டான்.
