Vāmadeva
Scene: A dignified council: Vasiṣṭha and other Brahmarṣis seated with kamaṇḍalus and matted locks; Nārada with vīṇā; luminous Devarṣis; the Pitṛs appearing as serene ancestral forms with subtle radiance; Dakṣa and Prajāpatis as regal progenitors—forming a solemn ring of witnesses.
Spiritual authority—from sages to progenitors to ancestors—converges in reverence before the Supreme, uniting dharma across realms.
The scene remains at Mount Mandara; the verse emphasizes the sacred congregation rather than a pilgrim rite.
