धनदस्य हृतं चित्तं हृतः शक्रस्य वारणः । इन्द्राणीं वाञ्छते पापो हयरत्नं रवेरपि
dhanadasya hṛtaṃ cittaṃ hṛtaḥ śakrasya vāraṇaḥ | indrāṇīṃ vāñchate pāpo hayaratnaṃ raverapi
அவன் தனதன் (குபேரன்) செல்வத்தையும் மனத்தையும் கவர்ந்து, சக்ரன் (இந்திரன்) யானையையும் பறித்தான். அந்தப் பாவி இந்திராணியையும் விரும்பினான்; சூரியனின் ரத்தினம் போன்ற குதிரையையும் ஆசைப்பட்டான்.
