भवतश्छिद्रमासाद्य घोरेऽस्मिन्सलिलावृते । पूर्वकल्पसमुद्भूतावसुरौ सुरदुर्जयौ
bhavataśchidramāsādya ghore'sminsalilāvṛte | pūrvakalpasamudbhūtāvasurau suradurjayau
உமது (கவனக்குறைவான) தருணத்தின் இடைவெளியைப் பற்றிக் கொண்டு, நீரால் மூடப்பட்ட இந்தப் பயங்கரப் பரப்பில், முன்னொரு கல்பத்தில் தோன்றிய இரண்டு அசுரர்கள் எழுந்தனர்—தேவர்களாலும் வெல்ல இயலாதவர்கள்।
