अतीतं वर्तमानं च स्मरामि च सृजाम्यहम् । तैर्विना चाहमेकस्तु मूकोऽधो जडवत्सदा
atītaṃ vartamānaṃ ca smarāmi ca sṛjāmyaham | tairvinā cāhamekastu mūko'dho jaḍavatsadā
நான் கடந்ததையும் நிகழ்போதையும் நினைக்கிறேன்; படைப்பையும் உருவாக்குகிறேன். ஆனால் அவை (வேதங்கள்) இல்லாமல் நான் தனியே எப்போதும் மௌனமாக, தாழ்ந்து, ஜடம்போல் ஆகிறேன்।
