ब्रह्महत्यान्वितः कण्वो निस्तेजा व्यचरन्महीम् । व्यचरंश्चैव सम्प्राप्तो नर्मदामुरिसंगमे
brahmahatyānvitaḥ kaṇvo nistejā vyacaranmahīm | vyacaraṃścaiva samprāpto narmadāmurisaṃgame
பிராமணவதப் பாவத்தால் பீடிக்கப்பட்ட கண்வன் ஒளியிழந்து பூமியெங்கும் அலைந்தான்; அலைந்து அலைந்து உரிசங்கமத்தில் நர்மதையை அடைந்தான்.
