तत्रास्थीनि विलीयन्ते पिण्डदानेऽक्षया गतिः । यत्किंचिद्दीयते तत्र तद्धि कोटिगुणं भवेत्
tatrāsthīni vilīyante piṇḍadāne'kṣayā gatiḥ | yatkiṃciddīyate tatra taddhi koṭiguṇaṃ bhavet
அங்கே எலும்புகளும் கரையும் எனச் சொல்லப்படுகிறது; பிண்டதானம் செய்தால் பித்ருக்களுக்கு அழியாத நல்வழி கிடைக்கும். அங்கே அளிக்கும் எந்த தானமும் கோடிமடங்கு பலன் தரும்.
