மார்க்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்—உலகம் அழிந்து, மீண்டும் அனைத்தும் நீரால் மூடப்பட்டபோது, நான் பேர்கடலின் நடுவில் இருந்து, என் கரங்களால் நீரைப் பிளந்து நீந்திக் கொண்டிருந்தேன்.
