bhādrapadyāṃ ca yatṣaṣṭhyāṃ puṇyaṃ sūryasya darśane | tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti ākhyānaśravaṇena tu

பாத்ரபத மாதத்தின் ஷஷ்டியில் சூரிய தரிசனத்தால் கிடைக்கும் புண்ணியப் பலன், இந்தப் புனித ஆக்யானத்தைச் செவிமடுத்தாலே அதேபோல் பெறப்படும்।
