माता च पितृभार्या च मातृमाता पितामही । कर्मणा मनसा वाचा हितं तासां समाचरेत्
mātā ca pitṛbhāryā ca mātṛmātā pitāmahī | karmaṇā manasā vācā hitaṃ tāsāṃ samācaret
தாய், தந்தையின் மனைவி (மாற்றுத் தாய்), தாய்வழிப் பாட்டி, தந்தைவழிப் பாட்டி—இவர்களின் நலனுக்காக செயல், மனம், சொல் மூன்றாலும் எப்போதும் நடக்க வேண்டும்।
