Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 9

पञ्चामृतेन संस्नाप्य श्रीखण्डेन च गुण्ठयेत् । शस्तैः पल्लवपुष्पैश्च पूजयेत्तु प्रयत्नतः

pañcāmṛtena saṃsnāpya śrīkhaṇḍena ca guṇṭhayet | śastaiḥ pallavapuṣpaiśca pūjayettu prayatnataḥ

பஞ்சாமிருதத்தால் இறைவனுக்கு அபிஷேகம் செய்து, ஸ்ரீகண்டச் சந்தனத்தால் பூசி அலங்கரிக்க வேண்டும். சிறந்த இளந்தளிர் இலைகளும் மலர்களும் கொண்டு முயற்சியுடன் பூஜிக்க வேண்டும்.
