क्रुद्धैर्देवसमूहैश्च दानवा निहता रणे । तेषां शिरांसि संगृह्य सर्वे देवाः सवासवाः
kruddhairdevasamūhaiśca dānavā nihatā raṇe | teṣāṃ śirāṃsi saṃgṛhya sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ
கோபமுற்ற தேவர்கூட்டம் போரில் தானவர்களை அழித்தது. அவர்களின் தலைகளைச் சேகரித்து, வாசவன் (இந்திரன்) உடன் எல்லாத் தேவர்களும் (அடுத்ததைச் செய்தனர்).
