kaluṣatvaṃ nayatyeva rasena surasā tathā | kṛpāṃ karoti sā yasmāllokānāmabhayapradā

தன் தெய்வீக ரசத்தால் அவள் மாசை நிச்சயமாக அகற்றுகிறாள்; அதனால் அவள் ‘சுரஸா’. உலகங்களுக்கு கருணை செய்து அச்சமின்மையை அளிப்பதால் அவள் ‘க்ருபா’ என நினைக்கப்படுகிறாள்.
