jaṭāmadhyasthitāṃ gaṅgāṃ mocayasveti bhūtale | bhāsvantī sā tato muktā rudreṇa śirasā bhuvi

Translation

‘ஜடைகளின் நடுவில் தங்கியுள்ள கங்கையை பூமியில் விடுவியுங்கள்’ என்று வேண்டினர். அப்போது அந்த ஒளிமிகு தேவி ருத்ரனின் சிரத்திலிருந்து பூமியில் விடுதலையாயினாள்.
