ते यान्ति परमं लोकं तत्र तीर्थे न संशयः । पातालान्निःसृता गङ्गा भोगवतीतिसंज्ञिता
te yānti paramaṃ lokaṃ tatra tīrthe na saṃśayaḥ | pātālānniḥsṛtā gaṅgā bhogavatītisaṃjñitā
அவர்கள் அந்தத் தீர்த்தத்தின் மகிமையால் பரம லோகத்தை அடைகிறார்கள்—இதில் ஐயமில்லை. பாதாளத்திலிருந்து வெளிப்பட்ட கங்கைத் தாரை ‘போகவதி’ எனப் பெயர்பெற்றது.
