याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । अपवित्रो मया भद्रे स्वप्नो दृष्टोऽद्य वै निशि । सक्लेदं तत्र मे वस्त्रं निक्षिप्तं तन्न दृश्यते
yājñavalkya uvāca | apavitro mayā bhadre svapno dṛṣṭo'dya vai niśi | sakledaṃ tatra me vastraṃ nikṣiptaṃ tanna dṛśyate
யாஜ்ஞவல்க்யர் கூறினார்— “பத்ரே, இன்றிரவு நான் அசுத்தமான கனவு கண்டேன். ஆகவே நனைந்த என் ஆடையை அங்கே வைத்தேன்; இப்போது அது காணப்படவில்லை.”
