कथिता पृच्छ्यते या ते मा ते भवतु विस्मयः । एषा गंगा महापुण्या त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुता
kathitā pṛcchyate yā te mā te bhavatu vismayaḥ | eṣā gaṃgā mahāpuṇyā triṣu lokeṣu viśrutā
விளக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும் நீ மீண்டும் கேட்கிறாய்—அதில் வியப்பு கொள்ளாதே. இவள் கங்கை; மிகப் புனிதமானவள்; மூன்று உலகங்களிலும் புகழ்பெற்றவள்।
