rūpayauvanasampannaṃ dṛṣṭvā taṃ pṛthivīpatim | divyopabhogasampannaṃ prārthayāmāsa narmadā

அழகும் இளமையும் நிறைந்த, தெய்வீக இன்பங்களும் செல்வமும் உடைய அந்தப் பூமிபதியைப் பார்த்த நர்மதா அவரை வரனாக வேண்டினாள்.
