श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । नर्मदोत्तरकूले तु दारुतीर्थमनुत्तमम् । यत्र सिद्धो महाभाग तपस्तप्त्वा द्विजोत्तमः
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | narmadottarakūle tu dārutīrthamanuttamam | yatra siddho mahābhāga tapastaptvā dvijottamaḥ
ஸ்ரீ மார்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்— நர்மதையின் வடகரையில் ‘தாரு-தீர்த்தம்’ எனும் ஒப்பற்ற தீர்த்தம் உள்ளது; அங்கே ஒரு பெரும்பாக்கியமுள்ள த்விஜோத்தமன் தவம் செய்து சித்தி பெற்றான்.
