tato'drākṣaṃ samudrānte mahadāvartasaṃkulām | udyattaraṃgasalilāṃ phenapuñjāṭṭahāsinīm

Translation

அப்போது நான் கடலோரத்தில் ஒரு மாபெரும் நீரோட்டத்தை கண்டேன்; அது பெரும் சுழல்களால் கலங்கியது. அலைகள் உயர்ந்து எழ, நுரைத் தொகுதிகள் அட்டஹாசம் செய்வதுபோல் தோன்றின।
