स च मे भक्तिनिरतो बाणो लोके च विश्रुतः । भारती च मया दत्ता ब्राह्मणानां विशेषतः
sa ca me bhaktinirato bāṇo loke ca viśrutaḥ | bhāratī ca mayā dattā brāhmaṇānāṃ viśeṣataḥ
அந்த பாணன் என்மேல் பக்தியில் நிலைத்தவன்; உலகில் புகழ்பெற்றவனும் ஆவான். மேலும், பிராமணர்களைச் சார்ந்த விஷயங்களில் சிறப்பாக, நான் அவனுக்கு வாக்குத் திறன் (பாரதி) அளித்தேன்।
