सकृत्स्नात्वा तथा श्रुत्वा नर्मदायां फलं हि तत् । आदिमध्यावसानेन नर्मदाचरितं शुभम्

Transliteration

sakṛtsnātvā tathā śrutvā narmadāyāṃ phalaṃ hi tat | ādimadhyāvasānena narmadācaritaṃ śubham

Translation

நர்மதையில் ஒருமுறை நீராடுவதால் கிடைக்கும் பலன், அவளின் மகிமையைச் செவியுற்றாலும் கிடைக்கும். தொடக்கம்–நடு–முடிவு வரை கேட்கப்படும் இந்தச் சுப நர்மதாசரிதம் அதே புண்ணியத்தை அளிக்கும்.
