स तेषु रुधिराम्भस्तु ह्रदेषु क्रोधमूर्छितः । पितॄन् संतर्पयामास रुधिरेणेति नः श्रुतम्

sa teṣu rudhirāmbhastu hradeṣu krodhamūrchitaḥ | pitṝn saṃtarpayāmāsa rudhireṇeti naḥ śrutam

அந்த இரத்தநீர் நிறைந்த ஏரிகளில் அவன்—இன்னும் கோபமூர்ச்சையுடன்—இரத்தத்தால் பித்ருக்களைத் தர்ப்பணம் செய்து திருப்திப்படுத்தினான்; இவ்வாறு நாம் கேட்டோம்।
