न तेषां विस्तरं वक्तुं शक्तो ब्रह्मापि भूपते । योजनानां शतं साग्रं श्रूयते सरिदुत्तमा
na teṣāṃ vistaraṃ vaktuṃ śakto brahmāpi bhūpate | yojanānāṃ śataṃ sāgraṃ śrūyate sariduttamā
ஓ பூபதே! அவர்களின் விரிவை முழுமையாகச் சொல்ல பிரம்மனாலும் இயலாது. இந்தச் சிறந்த நதி நூற்றுக்கும் மேலான யோஜனைகள் வரை விரிந்துள்ளது என்று கேள்விப்படுகிறோம்.
