ब्रह्महत्याभयात्सा हि न तु शूद्रैः कदाचन । उच्चारणाद्धारणाद्वा नरके पतति ध्रुवम्
brahmahatyābhayātsā hi na tu śūdraiḥ kadācana | uccāraṇāddhāraṇādvā narake patati dhruvam
பிரம்மஹத்த்யா என்ற பெரும் பாவத்தின் அச்சத்தால் அது (இந்த மந்திரம்/விதி) சூத்ரர்களால் எப்போதும் மேற்கொள்ளப்படாது; உச்சரித்தாலோ அணிந்தாலோ மனிதன் நிச்சயமாக நரகத்தில் வீழ்வான்।
