श्रीमार्कण्डेय उवाच । इत्युक्त्वा भगवान्देवस्तदा नारायणो नृप । उच्चैर्जहास स्वनवत्तत्राभूदखिलं जगत्
śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | ityuktvā bhagavāndevastadā nārāyaṇo nṛpa | uccairjahāsa svanavattatrābhūdakhilaṃ jagat
ஸ்ரீ மார்க்கண்டேயர் கூறினார்—ஹே அரசே! இவ்வாறு சொல்லி பகவான் நாராயணன் அப்போது உரத்த குரலில் நகைத்தான்; அந்த நாதம் போல அங்கே முழு பிரபஞ்சமும் வெளிப்பட்டது।
