अवस्थां तस्य ते दृष्ट्वा विषादमगमन्परम् । असहित्वा तु तद्दुःखं सर्वे ते मनसा द्विजाः
avasthāṃ tasya te dṛṣṭvā viṣādamagamanparam | asahitvā tu tadduḥkhaṃ sarve te manasā dvijāḥ
அவரின் நிலையைக் கண்ட அவர்கள் மிகுந்த துயரில் ஆழ்ந்தனர். அந்த வேதனையைத் தாங்க இயலாமல், அந்த இருபிறப்பினர் ரிஷிகள் அனைவரும் உள்ளத்தால் கலங்கினர்.
