piṇḍadānena caikena vidhiyuktena bhārata | dvādaśābdāni tuṣyanti pitaro nātra saṃśayaḥ

பாரதா, விதிப்படி செய்யப்படும் ஒரே ஒரு பிண்டதானத்தினாலே பித்ருக்கள் பன்னிரண்டு ஆண்டுகள் திருப்தியடைவார்கள்—இதில் ஐயமில்லை.
