सर्वे ते ह्युपजीवन्ति हुतं दत्तं शशिस्थितम् । वनस्पतिगते सोमे धनवांश्च वरानने
sarve te hyupajīvanti hutaṃ dattaṃ śaśisthitam | vanaspatigate some dhanavāṃśca varānane
அழகிய முகத்தையுடையவளே! அக்னியில் அர்ப்பணித்த ஹோமமும், தானமாக அளித்ததும்—சந்திரனில் நிலைபெற்றதாக—அதனால் எல்லா உயிர்களும் வாழ்கின்றன; மேலும் சோமன் தாவரங்களில் தங்கும்போது மனிதன் செல்வமுடையவனாகிறான்.
