नर्मदातीरमासाद्य स्थिताः सर्वेऽकुतोभयाः । किंचित्पूर्वमनुस्मृत्य पुरा कल्पादिभिर्भयम्

நர்மதா கரையை அடைந்து அவர்கள் அனைவரும் அச்சமின்றி நின்றனர். ஆயினும் முன்னைய காலத்தைச் சிறிது நினைத்து, கல்பமாற்றம் முதலியவற்றால் எழுந்த பழம்பெரும் அச்சத்தை மனத்தில் மீட்டனர்.
