Transliteration

hótā yakṣad vanaspátiṃ śamitā́raṃ śatákratuṃ dhiyó jóṣṭāram indriyám | mádhvā samañján pathíbhiḥ sugébhiḥ svádāti yajñáṃ mádhunā ghṛténa vétv ā́jyasya hótar yája

Translation

ஹோதா வனஸ்பதியை யஜிக்கட்டும்—சமிதா, சதக்ரது, நம் தியானங்களைப் போஷிப்பவன், இந்திரிய-சம வலிமை உடையவன். மதுவால் முறையாக அப்யஞ்சனம் செய்து, எளிதாகச் செல்லும் பாதைகளால், அவன் யாகத்தை மதுவாலும் நெய்யாலும் சுவையுடனாக்குகிறான்; அது ஆஜ்யத்தைப் பெறுவதாக. ஹோதாவே, யஜி!
