pravartamāne samare śaṃkarāṃdhakayostayoḥ | anirbhedyapavivyūhagirivyūhādhināthayoḥ

சங்கரன் மற்றும் அந்தகன் இடையே போர் தீவிரமாக நடந்து கொண்டிருந்தபோது—அவர்கள் இருவரும் போர்வியூகங்களின் தலைவர்கள்; அவர்களின் அணிவகுப்புகள் உடைக்க முடியாத கோட்டைகளும் மலைப்பாங்கான வரிசைகளும் போல உறுதியானவை—போர் இடையறாது நீடித்தது.
