देवदैत्यसामान्ययुद्धवर्णनम् — Description of the General Battle Between Devas and Daityas
एवमन्योन्यमसुरो विष्णुश्च बलवानुभौ । युयुधाते रणे भूरि तत्राक्षतबलौ मुने
evamanyonyamasuro viṣṇuśca balavānubhau | yuyudhāte raṇe bhūri tatrākṣatabalau mune
இவ்வாறு அசுரனும் விஷ்ணுவும்—இருவரும் வல்லவர்கள்—அந்தப் பெரும் போரில் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் ஒருவருடன் ஒருவர் மோதினர். ஓ முனியே, அங்கே அவர்களின் வலிமை சிதையாமல் நீண்ட நேரம் கடும் போர் நடந்தது.
