गणेशोत्पत्ति-प्रसङ्गः / Episode on the Origin of Gaṇeśa (Śvetakalpa Account)
गणेश उवाच । किं कार्यं विद्यते तेद्य करवाणि तवोदितम् । इत्युक्ता सा तदा तेन प्रत्युवाच सुतं शिवा
gaṇeśa uvāca | kiṃ kāryaṃ vidyate tedya karavāṇi tavoditam | ityuktā sā tadā tena pratyuvāca sutaṃ śivā
கணேசன் கூறினான்: “இன்று உமக்கு என்ன பணி உள்ளது? நீர் சொல்வதையே நான் செய்வேன்.” இவ்வாறு கேட்டபோது சிவா (தேவி) தன் மகனுக்கு பதிலளித்தாள்.
