तारक-कुमार-युद्धवर्णनम् / Description of the Battle between Tāraka and Kumāra

केचिद्भीताः प्रांजलयो बभूवुस्तत्र चाहवे । छिन्नभिन्नांगकाः केचिन्मृता दैत्यास्सहस्रशः

kecidbhītāḥ prāṃjalayo babhūvustatra cāhave | chinnabhinnāṃgakāḥ kecinmṛtā daityāssahasraśaḥ

அந்தப் போர்க்களத்திலேயே சிலர் அச்சத்தால் கைகூப்பி நின்றனர்; சிலர் உறுப்புகள் வெட்டுண்டு சிதறி, ஆயிரமாயிரம் தைத்யர்கள் இறந்து கிடந்தனர்.
