तारक-कुमार-युद्धवर्णनम् / Description of the Battle between Tāraka and Kumāra
तदा तौ युध्यमानौ च हन्तुकामौ महाबलौ । वल्गन्तौ वीरशब्दैश्च नानायुद्धविशारदौ
tadā tau yudhyamānau ca hantukāmau mahābalau | valgantau vīraśabdaiśca nānāyuddhaviśāradau
அப்போது அந்த இரு மகாபல வீரரும், கொல்லும் எண்ணத்துடன் போரில் ஈடுபட்டு, போர்க்களத்தில் வீர முழக்கங்கள் எழுப்பி தாவித் தாவி அலைந்தனர்; பலவகைப் போர் நுணுக்கங்களில் தேர்ந்தவர்கள் ஆவர்।
