स वां यज्ञेषु मानवी इन्दुर्जनिष्ट रोदसी । देवो देवी गिरिष्ठा अस्रेधन्तं तुविष्वणि ॥
Transliteration
sá vāṃ yajñéṣu mānavī́ índur janiṣṭa rodasī́ | devó devī́ giriṣṭhā́ asredhántaṃ tuviṣváṇi ||
Translation
ஹே த்யாவா-ப்ருதிவீ! மனித யாகங்களில் அந்த இந்து உங்களுக்காகப் பிறக்கிறான்—தேவீ-சக்திகளுக்குத் தேவன்; மலைமேல் அமர்ந்தவன், அச்ரேதந்த (சோர்வில்லாத/தளராத)வன், பேரொலியுடன் முழங்குபவன்.
