सोमः पवते जनिता मतीनां जनिता दिवो जनिता पृथिव्याः । जनिताग्नेर्जनिता सूर्यस्य जनितेन्द्रस्य जनितोत विष्णोः ॥

Transliteration

sómaḥ pavate janitā́ matīnā́ṃ janitā́ divó janitā́ pṛthivyā́ḥ | janitā́gner janitā́ sū́ryasya janiténdrasya janitó uta víṣṇoḥ ||

Translation

சோமன் தூய்மையடைந்து பாய்கிறான்—அவன் மதி (ஊக்கமூட்டும் ஞான-சிந்தனைகள்) யின் ஜனிதா; அவன் த்யௌ (வானம்/சுவர்க்கம்) யின் ஜனிதா, அவன் ப்ருதிவி (பூமி) யின் ஜனிதா. அவன் அக்னியின் ஜனிதா, அவன் சூர்யனின் ஜனிதா; அவன் இந்திரனின் ஜனிதா, மேலும் விஷ்ணுவினதும் ஜனிதா.
