धर्ता दिवः पवते कृत्व्यो रसो दक्षो देवानामनुमाद्यो नृभिः । हरिः सृजानो अत्यो न सत्वभिर्वृथा पाजांसि कृणुते नदीष्वा ॥

Transliteration

dhartā diváḥ pavate kṛ́tvyo ráso dákṣo devā́nām anumā́dyo nṛ́bhiḥ | háriḥ sṛjānáḥ átyo na sátvabhir vṛ́thā pā́jāṃsi kṛṇute nadī́ṣv ā́ ||

Translation

வானத்தின் தாங்கியவன் புனிதமடைந்து பாய்கின்றான்—செயல்திறன் கொண்ட ரசம், தேவர்களின் தக்ஷம், மனித சக்திகள் அனுபவிக்கத் தக்கது. ஹரி-வர்ண சோமன் விடுபட்டு, வலமுள்ள குதிரைபோல், நதிகளுள் (ஓடும் வழிகளுள்) புகுந்து, தன் பேராற்றல் ‘பாஜாஂஸி’யைத் தன்னிச்சையாக அமைக்கின்றான்.
