आत्मन्वन्नभो दुह्यते घृतं पय ऋतस्य नाभिरमृतं वि जायते । समीचीनाः सुदानवः प्रीणन्ति तं नरो हितमव मेहन्ति पेरवः ॥

Transliteration

ātmanván nabhó duhyate ghṛtáṃ páya ṛtásya nā́bhir amṛ́taṃ ví jāyate | samīcīnā́ḥ sudā́navaḥ prīṇanti táṃ náro hitám áva mehanti péravaḥ ||

Translation

ஆத்மன்வத் நபஸ் (சுயாதீன வானம்) இலிருந்து க்ருதமும் பயஃ (ஒளிமிகு இனிமை)யும் பால் போலக் கறக்கப்படுகிறது; ருதத்தின் நாபியிலிருந்து அம்ருதம் பிறந்து விரிகிறது. சமீசீனர்கள் (ருத-ஒத்திசைவு உடையோர்), சுதானவர்கள் (நல்ல தானம் அளிப்போர்) அவனை மகிழ்விக்கிறார்கள்; மனிதர்கள், அவனை உள்ளே நிறுவி, வளர்ப்புப் மழை போல அவனை கீழே பொழிகிறார்கள்।
