आ दिवस्पृष्ठमश्वयुर्गव्ययुः सोम रोहसि । वीरयुः शवसस्पते ॥
Transliteration
ā́ divás pṛṣṭhám aśva-yúr gavya-yúḥ soma rohasi | vīra-yúḥ śávasas pate ||
Translation
ஓ சோமா, அச்வ-சக்தியை நாடி, கவ்ய-தேஜஸை நாடி, நீ திவஃப்ருஷ்டம் (வானின் முதுகு) மீது ஏறுகிறாய்; வீர-சக்தியை நாடி—ஓ ஶவஸஸ்பதி, வலத்தின் அதிபதி.
